Mexico is in deep deep shit... “recession”…and Calderon has done little to effectively address the worsening situation.
Read this and this from recently released reports from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development. Note how unemployment has more than doubled since Calderon took office. No doubting that Sunday’s elections were a referendum on Calderon and his policies–one that he and his PAN party lost by a greater margin than predicted.
In Honduras– an economic basketcase even before the coup last Sunday– the situation is more dire than what is being endured by their neighbors to the north.
